Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting your
privacy and earning your trust. We respect your right to keep your
personal information confidential and to avoid unwanted solicitations.
Visitors browse anonymously, and are not required to provide any personal
information in order to access our Web site. For each visitor to our Web
pages, our Web server automatically recognizes the consumer's domain name, date
and time of a visit, IP address, Operating System, Web Browser, and Screen
Resolution. It does not store the e-mail address (or any other personal
information). This information is used to compile aggregated statistics so
that we may better design our site based on the needs of our visitors.
You can utilize most of our site without giving us any information about
yourself. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that
you request, and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in
those situations. Please read the complete privacy statement.
Types of Information We Collect and Disclose
We collect information about people and property, volunteered by the
consumer, such as survey information, comments and/or quote requests. This
information is used to quote and service insurance policies and provide
comparison rates. To protect your privacy, we have created quote requests
that collect minimal data. If additional information is needed, or to
provide you with a quote, we will contact you by phone.
Because we use several insurance companies to provide you with the most
competitive rates, information about you may be disclosed to others as permitted
by law. Generally, this includes disclosures to third parties that are
necessary to effect, administer or enforce your transaction with us, or in
connection with servicing your insurance policy or request. These parties
may include our group of affiliated insurance companies, courts and government
agencies.
When someone visits the site, a cookie may be placed on your computer (if you
accept cookies) or is read if the customer has visited the site previously.
We protect the security of your personal information and honor your choices
for its intended use. We limit internal access to your data and maintain a
comprehensive Acceptable Use Policy for our employees.
We will disclose identifying or personal information, without notice, only if
required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is
necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with a legal
process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Holden Agency
Insurance and its family of Web sites, and, (c) act in urgent circumstances to
protect the personal safety of users of Holden Agency Insurance, its Web sites,
or the public.
